Traffic shaping (bandwidth prioritizing and limiting) is
available to prevent Real Audio and Video, browsing of non-work-related
sites, or other low priority applications from taking bandwidth
away from critical applications. We can also shape traffic
by time of day, type of user or even individual IP addresses.
Squid and Squidguard are available to cache commonly accessed
pages
and block
access
to undesired pages.
